Are you a detail-oriented individual who loves organization and digital tools? The Newcomer Centre of Peel is seeking a tech-savvy Digital Document Specialist to help streamline our administrative workflows. In this role, you will play a critical part in modernizing our system by auditing existing files, standardizing outdated documents, and creating user-friendly, fillable digital forms. Your work will directly improve how we register new participants, track information, and deliver our community programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Form Modernization: Transform static paper or PDF documents into clean, interactive, and fillable digital forms (e.g., new volunteer registration, intake forms, feedback surveys).
  • File Organization & Auditing: Review, categorize, and update existing digital files in our [e.g., Google Drive / OneDrive] to ensure information is accurate and easy to find.
  • Data Access Optimization: Ensure all newly created forms are accessible, secure, and seamlessly integrated with our data collection workflows.
  • Process Documentation: Create a brief, simple guide on how to use and update the new forms for future volunteers and staff.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High proficiency with digital document tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat Pro, Google Forms, Microsoft Word, or Jotform).
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for clean layout and design.
  • Excellent attention to detail when auditing, proofreading, and naming files.
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Reliable access to a computer and a secure internet connection (if remote).
