Reports To: Manager, Development Operations & Donor Analytics
Status: Permanent Full-time
Start Date: mid to late October 2025
Salary Range: $46,000 to $55,000

Position Summary:
- Gift administration through the processing of donations into the patron database.
- Proper generation of receipts for donations in accordance with CRA guidelines through the whole of the fundraising cycle.
- Contribute to reporting and data analytics that provide insight into fundraising performance at the TSO.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurate and expedient processing, receipt and record keeping of donations.
- Provide customer-centric public facing support for donors in regards to gift documentation (in/outbound phone).
- Creation and review of training manual for Development Operations gift processing processes.
- Maintaining accuracy of Patron Services department training materials involving current Development processing, membership programs and the fundraising cycle.
- Training and support for Patron Services and Development teams pertaining to data processes as relates to gift administration policies and practices.
- Leading the Development Operations aspect of the annual external Telefund campaign in collaboration with the Annual Fund team.
- Process tribute gifts including preparing acknowledgment cards as requested.
- Work in collaboration with the rest of the Development Operations team to perform routine maintenance tasks of the fundraising software as required.
- Collaborate with the finance department to complete month-end reconciliation.
- Perform regular data audits and assist in resolving data integrity issues.
- Assist the Director of Development Operations and the Development team with data analysis
Additional Scope of Responsibility:
- Providing support and developing tutorials, processes, procedures and guidelines for frontline office staff on optimal use of fundraising software.
- Ongoing audit of streamlining Development Operations acknowledgment procedures.
- Undertaking large-scale data projects as assigned by the development operations team.
- Compiling, editing and distributing lists for donor lounge, mailings, emails, etc.
- Regular assistance in the preparation and delivery of solicitation mailings and donor communications.
- Duties as assigned.
Experience & Qualifications:
- University Degree, community college diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant customer or donor relations experience and/or data entry.
- Proficiency in the database in use by the organization (Tessitura) or similar experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in proofing, auditing, and reviewing across multiple types of documents and data sheets.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
- Long periods of sitting w/ screen time, long term repetitive motions for inputting similar data in the most efficient manner
- Occasional handling of large shipments of paper received for stocking orders.
- Essential travel to the office to ensure continuity of business (Mail, Tax Documents)
- Hybrid work environment - opportunity to work remotely as well as in the office.

- Good judgment, discretion, sensitivity, and tact; donor-centric in approach
- Highly organized, accurate and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Knowledge of classical music is an asset
