Unpaid Volunteer Position

Toronto Biosphere Eco-City (TBEC) is seeking a deputy leader for a small group of volunteers, to continue development of a Youth Climate Action (YCA) project. In this this initiative, youth look at summaries of sustainability projects posted on the TBEC website at https://toronto.bioecocity.org/.

Following the steps in a short manual, they then submit their ideas on how any of those projects can provide benefits for climate. YCA team volunteers consolidate youth input in a report on the TBEC website. The University of Toronto has distributed a project invitation to its environmental studies students. Discussions are now underway to begin the YCA project in two Toronto high schools.

The TBEC YCA team currently has four members, including a team leader. The Deputy Leader
