Position Overview
Samawada is seeking a curious, analytical, and impact-focused Data Analyst to help transform organizational, humanitarian, financial, program, fundraising, and operational data into meaningful insights that support better decision-making, transparency, accountability, and program impact.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about data analysis, statistics, data visualization, humanitarian technology, nonprofit analytics, business intelligence, impact measurement, and evidence-based decision-making.
The successful candidate will work closely with technology, programs, operations, fundraising, finance, communications, monitoring and evaluation, and leadership teams to collect, organize, analyze, visualize, and communicate data that helps Samawada understand its activities, resources, outcomes, and impact.

What You Will Do
Data Analysis
Collect, organize, clean, analyze, and interpret organizational and program data.

Conduct descriptive and exploratory analysis of organizational information.

Data Collection & Management
Support the collection of data from internal and external sources.
Work with program, operations, finance, fundraising, technology, and other teams to understand data requirements.
Help establish consistent data-collection processes.
Organize datasets and maintain structured data repositories.
Support data-entry standards and documentation.
Help identify missing, inconsistent, duplicated, or inaccurate data.
Develop procedures that improve data reliability and usability.
Data Cleaning & Quality
Clean and prepare datasets for analysis and reporting.
