Daily Bread Food Bank - Volunteers Needed
Dear Volunteer,
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Daily Bread Food Bank at 191 New Toronto Street (South Etobicoke). We truly appreciate your willingness to support our community. Volunteers are welcome to volunteer in Food Sorting, Kitchen, Warehouse, and at The New Toronto Street Food Bank (NTSFB).
We currently have a high need for volunteers and have created several open shifts—Open Food Sort, Open Kitchen, Open Warehouse Assistance, and Drop-in (NTSFB)—that require no prior training. To register for any of these shifts, please log in at dailybread.volunteerhub.com.
If you are interested in volunteering on a regular basis, please follow the steps below:
- Register for and attend a virtual information session: https://dailybread.volunteerhub.com/vv2/lp/infosession
- After attending the session, book an “Introductory Call” with us to discuss your availability and preferred volunteer area.
- During the call, you will book your first in-person training session.
- Once trained, you may begin booking and attending regular volunteer shifts.
Thank you again for your desire to make a meaningful impact. We look forward to welcoming you to our volunteer team! Feel free to reach out to volunteer@dailybread.ca for any questions.
