Position Overview

STEM For the Future is seeking creative and detail-oriented Curriculum Developers to design engaging STEM educational content for youth programs and workshops. The ideal candidate is passionate about education, innovation, and creating structured learning experiences that inspire curiosity and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop structured STEM lesson plans, activities, and educational materials
  • Create age-appropriate content tailored to different learning levels and participant needs
  • Align curriculum content with program learning objectives and educational outcomes
  • Research innovative STEM topics, tools, and teaching methods to enhance programming
  • Collaborate with presenters and facilitators to ensure effective lesson delivery
  • Review and improve curriculum materials based on participant, volunteer, and facilitator feedback
  • Ensure lessons are interactive, inclusive, and engaging for diverse learners
  • Assist with developing worksheets, presentations, instructional guides, and activity resources

Qualifications

  • Background in Education, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Psychology, or related fields preferred
  • Experience creating lesson plans, educational resources, or youth programming is an asset
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts into engaging learning experiences
  • Passion for STEM education and youth development
  • Comfortable working collaboratively within a team environment
