Coordinator for Out-4-Lunch Program

This is a new position and the specific roles and responsibilities will need to be developed in consultation with lead volunteers.

Ideally we are seeking an organized and gifted leader who can facilitate the re-launch of a program which was successful pre-Covid.

The Out-4-Lunch program provides a simple luncheon, once per month, for primarily seniors. This is an opportunity for an outing and social time, which is offered at no charge (although many participants do leave a donation).

Volunteers prepare and serve the luncheon. These volunteers are members of the four Christian churches on Plains Road in Aldershot, hence the program title Out-4-Lunch. The lead volunteer coordinator is no longer available to facilitate the program and the current volunteers do not feel capable of taking on full leadership role.

The successful candidate will be supported by the clergy and volunteers, with office support as needed. The position is hybrid, with in-person component in Aldershot.

Estimated time commitment per week/month is to be determined with the goal to hand leadership over to new coordinator over approximately one year.
