Department: Marketing & Communications
Reports To: Social Media Team Lead
Position Summary
Content Creators will develop engaging content that helps STEM for the Future grow its online presence, share its impact, and connect with a wider audience.
This role is flexible and ideal for individuals interested in social media, content creation, storytelling, or digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Create social media content (posts, carousels, reels, TikToks)
- Contribute creative ideas and content concepts
- Translate STEM topics and organizational work into engaging content
Writing & Messaging
- Write captions that are clear, engaging, and aligned with the brand
- Support storytelling (events, volunteers, impact stories)
Visual / Video Content
- Design simple graphics using Canva (if applicable)
- Edit or create short-form videos (Reels/TikTok)
- Support visual storytelling
Collaboration
- Work with the Social Media Lead and other creators
- Meet content deadlines and contribute to weekly planning
- Provide input and feedback on team content
Who We’re Looking For
- Creative and idea-driven
- Comfortable using social media platforms
- Strong communication or visual skills (any of: writing, design, video)
- Reliable and able to meet deadlines
- Passionate about youth empowerment, STEM, and impact
Preferred (Not Required)
- Canva or basic design skills
- Video editing (CapCut, TikTok, etc.)
- Experience creating content for personal or organizational accounts
