------ About Right to Live Canada
Right to Live Canada is a federally registered start-up non-profit organization dedicated to combating poverty-driven euthanasia and suffering amongst Canadians with disabilities. The Canadian disability support system both manufactures and enforces poverty amongst those relying upon it, with a one-size-fits-all solution that doesn't scale to match the severity of disability and associated costs. This ensures that severity of disability is directly proportional to severity of the impact of poverty that the system both creates and enforces, thus multiplying the suffering and potential pressure towards euthanasia or suicide as a relief. Quite simply, the system ensures that the 'more disabled' you are, the more you suffer. This is why many Canadians with disabilities have been in the news in recent times, and recent years, for publicly choosing to pursue Medical Assistance in Dying not out of the hardship their disability puts upon them but because of the suffering the system enforces. And the system answers in cold, systematic approval.

Right to Live is our answer. It is the creed that every Canadian deserves sufficient support to live a dignified life. That our most vulnerable have the right to more than euthanasia or survival in suffering, but to truly live. It is the commitment that we are to be judged not by the quality of life for our wealthiest and most able, but by our least. In a system that acknowledges the right of its citizens to voluntarily choose euthanasia, while also accepting the responsibility to support its most vulnerable, it is the concept that it is a moral duty of the highest order to ensure these systems never intersect.

It is our pledge, our promise, by every one of our supporters and volunteers to fight to uphold. We are Right to Live, and we hope you'll join us.

------ The Opportunity
Right to Live Canada is building a team of Social Media Content Creators to create content for our advocacy and fundraising efforts. We seek to build a powerful foundation of viral content to cultivate awareness, convert supporters and create a base of donors and volunteers to spread our cause and gather the funds needed to save lives. We are a new, start-up, rapidly growing organization thats connects and works remotely through Slack and Google Workspace tools, asynchronously across all time zones and schedules, to put our collective effort to building this movement from scratch.

-------- What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with our executive director to form a content roadmap for strategic use of viral media like shorts, images, videos, writing or otherwise. Whatever you're good at, if you feel you can feel a powerful impact with high quality content that rivals what major brands put out, we want to blast it on the airwaves and phone screens. All our platforms are open: newsletter and blog, social media and online content platforms, print mediums and more.
- Help utilize cross-functional synergy across our resources and mediums to help leverage things like our $10'000/mo Google Ad grant to pipeline uninformed newcomers into new subscribers, supporters, donors and members.
- Maintain brand guidelines, make new templates, and explore pushing our digital marketing into new frontiers while ensuring to maintain strict quality assurance.
- Showcase your ability to work diligently and productively in a remote office environment and earn the LinkedIn endorsement to prove it. In three months of successful, impactful volunteering, earn a letter of reference from our Executive Director to illustrate your talent and commitment to peers and prospective employers alike.

-------- You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Truly resonate with the cause. If it's something that you genuinely care deeply about, no sugarcoating or niceties, then we want you. The greatest work comes when its meant from the heart.
- Like working online and work well over chat platforms. We're an office that lives on Slack, so basically Discord but for work. Checking in and ensuring communication and work continues to flow is key for the gears to keep turning.
- Love making great work, and are keen on quality, detail and impact.
- Speak content almost as a first language, have a creative mind or brilliant ideas at ways to express our cause and connect through media
- Value accessibility and don't mind making tweaks to your usual work to ensure we accommodate those with disabilities and provide ways for differently abled to connect
