Content Creation Intern (Student Placement)
Role Overview:
Young Bosses in Business Foundation (YBIB) is a youth-focused Canadian charity supporting
entrepreneurship, leadership, and real-world skill-building for young people.
The Content Creation Intern creates platform-ready content for YBIB (short-form video, reels,
trend-based content, edits). This role focuses on editing, trend awareness, and turning captured
moments into engaging content across social platforms. Reports to the Communications Chair.
Key Responsibilities:
• Capture and edit short-form videos (Reels/TikToks) using phone-friendly tools (CapCut/in-app edits)
• Add trendy hooks, captions/subtitles, and simple transitions
• Stay current on trends and suggest content ideas that match YBIB’s brand
• Prepare content packages/ fill Content Calendar using Buffer
• Attend YBIB events, including our one-day Youth Market, to capture content
• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to align on daily/weekly content
Skills & Qualifications:
• Best suited for college/university students enrolled in Digital Media, Content Creation, Film/Video, Marketing, Communications, or related programs
• High school students looking to gain experience and complete community service hours are welcome to apply
• Comfortable using or learning Buffer, canva, trello and whatsapp
