What you will do
Lead the creation of blogs, articles, newsletters, and digital content that tell Samawada’s story and highlight project impact.
Oversee the quarterly newsletter, ensuring professional quality and timely distribution.
Manage the organization’s communications calendar to align content with campaigns, events, and fundraising initiatives.
Collaborate with project teams to translate complex information into clear, engaging, and accessible content.
Support social media efforts by drafting posts and repurposing blog/newsletter content for wider outreach.
Ensure all communications are consistent with Samawada’s brand, tone, and mission.
What we are looking for
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Experience in communications, journalism, content creation, or marketing.
Ability to tailor content for different audiences, including donors, partners, and the general public.
Familiarity with WordPress, Mailchimp, or other content management systems is an asset.
Understanding of SEO, digital engagement, and analytics tools is helpful.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Passion for global development, social impact, or non-profits is an asset.
