Community Outreach Coordinator, May to August 2026

Position Overview

St. Philip’s Lutheran Church is seeking a community-minded and self-driven leader who is passionate about addressing food insecurity and building community in our central Etobicoke neighbourhood.

This summer position offers an opportunity to lead two impactful outreach programs — The Good Food Market and The Neighbourhood Table (children’s cooking) — working directly with community partners and volunteers to create lasting positive change in the lives of those we serve.

Both programs operate as community events and require strong pre-planning skills, attention to detail, logistical coordination, and volunteer leadership to ensure they are welcoming, organized, and stress-free for participants.

We are looking for a self-starter with proven experience leading and managing volunteers, who can independently oversee program planning, event execution, and multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
