About us

Ups and Downs is here for you. Registered as a charity in 1987, Ups & Downs has supported individuals with Down syndrome, their parents, families, and friends in the Calgary area for over 30 years.

What you will do

  • Develop and implement communication strategies to promote our mission and programs.
  • Create engaging content for newsletters, social media, and the website.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
  • Manage media relations and respond to inquiries.
  • Organize events and campaigns to raise awareness and support for our cause.

What we are looking for

  • Required Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in social media platforms, and experience in content creation.
  • Optional Skills: Experience in non-profit organizations, graphic design skills, and familiarity with media relations.
