About the Role
CDRCP is seeking a dedicated and community-minded Coordinator of Communications & Fund Development to support our outreach, storytelling, and fundraising efforts. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team committed to supporting children, families, and service providers across Peel.
Key Responsibilities:
Communications
- Support the development of internal and external communication materials, including newsletters, website content, social media posts, and promotional resources.
- Help maintain and update CDRCP’s website, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, and engaging.
- Coordinate digital marketing activities, including email campaigns, analytics tracking, and adapting communication strategies based on engagement trends.
- Support the development of communication plans for new initiatives, programs, and events.
- Build and maintain positive communication with community partners, media contacts, and stakeholders.
Fund Development
- Create proposals, donor communications, and fundraising materials.
- Plan and coordinate of fundraising events, campaigns, and community outreach initiatives.
- Help build and maintain relationships with donors, funders, and foundations.
- Track and organize fundraising data, reporting, and documentation.
Coordination & Team Support
- Coordinate schedules, outreach activities, and communication requests from various programs.
- Work alongside Managers and Supervisors to understand communication needs and support consistency across departments.
Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
- Track communication results and digital engagement to help identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in evaluating communication and fundraising strategies to support ongoing growth.
Community Relationships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners to increase awareness of CDRCP’s programs and services.
- Support outreach efforts that enhance CDRCP’s visibility in the community.
What You Bring
- Post-secondary education or related experience in Communications, Fundraising, Marketing, Public Relations, Media, or a similar field.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging content.
- Knowledge of digital platforms, social media tools, email marketing, and analytics.
- Experience with content creation (written, visual, or video) is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with staff, partners, and community members.
- Valid driver’s license, insurance and access to personal transportation.
