We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Manager

Employment: Full-time permanent

Schedule: Days (occasional evenings and weekends may be required) FTE: 1.0

Location: CarePoint Health – 2695 North Sheridan Way, Suite 120, Mississauga, ON, but will also be assigned to work at other CarePoint Health sites within Mississauga

Starting Date: March 2026

Salary: $92,400-$106,532 and a comprehensive benefits package

CarePoint Health (CPH) is a publically funded community health organization consisting of a team of over 120 community affiliated physicians and allied health professionals working together to improve the health and wellness of the Mississauga communities. The interprofessional team collaboratively delivers holistic care by addressing patients’ physical health, mental health and social determinants of health. As a neighbourhood health partner, we believe in a healthy community for all.

CPH is also the Network Lead Organization for the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) Program in Brampton, Halton, Mississauga and South Etobicoke. OSP offers adults (18+) in Ontario free, short-term, evidence-based cognitive-behavioural therapy and related services for depression, anxiety, and anxietyrelated conditions.

What is this role?

CarePoint Health is hiring a Clinical Manager to lead and support our interdisciplinary clinical team in delivering high-quality, team-based care. We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced leader who will provide operational and practice support to clinical staff across multiple clinic sites, champion clinical quality and performance improvement, and foster a culture of inclusivity and excellence. The Clinical Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and evaluation of integrated, patient-centred healthcare services that align with CarePoint’s strategic priorities and meet the needs of our community. This role also includes oversight of recruitment, onboarding, and professional development through coaching, mentorship, and education. As a key member of the leadership team, the Clinical Manager will help shape a supportive and high-performing work environment that empowers staff and enhances patient outcomes.

The candidate should be an enthusiastic and motivated professional seeking to contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of various programs and services as well as participate fully in the delivery of comprehensive primary care.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of Health Service Delivery your key responsibilities would include:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring efficient workflows, staffing, and resource utilization.
  • Staff Development: Facilitate training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to support professional growth and retention.
  • Clinical Oversight: Ensure adherence to clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in primary care delivery.
  • Program Development: Lead planning, implementation, and evaluation of primary care programs and pathways to support chronic disease management, and preventative care programs.
  • Quality Improvement: Monitor performance indicators, conduct audits, and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Change Management: Lead and support team through change, with a focus on patient experience and quality.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with internal departments, community partners, and external agencies to enhance service integration.
  • Risk & Compliance: Ensure compliance with professional practice standards, privacy legislation, and organizational policies.
  • Other: Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3+ years of healthcare leadership experience
  • Regulated healthcare professional (e.g. RN, PT, OT, SW) with 5+ years of clinical experience
  • Understanding of the Regulated Health Professions Act, professional standards, and scopes of practice.
  • Primary care or community health experience considered an asset.
  • Experience with electronic medical records considered as asset.
  • Experience with clinical program planning and implementation, quality improvement, performance monitoring, and process redesign.
  • Proficiency in data use, quality frameworks (e.g., QIP, PDSA), and project coordination.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and interprofessional collaboration.
  • A track record of leading change, building high-performing teams, and advancing innovative care models.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle required
  • A satisfactory and current Criminal Background and Vulnerable Sector Screening required
  • Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
