Unpaid Volunteer Position

About this Position:

Offer client support across multiple programs by assisting with form completion, intake process, CRM updates and appointment reminders, to ensure accessible and efficient service delivery

Responsibilities

  • Support program delivery through intake assistance
  • Note-taking
  • Complete program specific data entry tasks including CRM updates
  • Tracking systems and completed tasks
  • seek clarification from team staff or volunteer lead as needed

Skill Development goals

Gain hands-on experience in client intake and administrative tasks. In this position, you will assist the program team with client intake, support service delivery, and track completed tasks.

Qualifications

  • Strong computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Comfort interacting with high risk, marginalized, and vulnerable individuals
  • Speaking additional languages is a big asset

  • Two references (1 personal, 1 professional)
  • Vulnerable Sector Screening (instructions provided after acceptance)

Training Provided

Specific training related to the position will be provided in addition to a comprehensive orientation about WoodGreen services, programs, mission and vision

Commitment

  • 3 Month commitment
  • 10-15 hours per week during workdays
