ORGANIZATION

Based in Toronto, Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits is a Canadian charity, 100% volunteer-

led that provides management consulting to improve organizational capacity and community impact for

non-profits that otherwise cannot afford professional consulting.

Endeavour has two consulting engagement rounds during the year, in the fall and in the spring. For each

round, Endeavour recruits and matches teams of skilled volunteers with non-profit organizations in need

of pro bono consulting.

Since 2007, Endeavour has engaged more than 1000 volunteers on over 134 projects, delivering more

than $8 million in pro bono consulting to local, national and international non-profits based in Canada.

Endeavour’s partnerships with leading corporations in Canada offer pro bono and skills-based

volunteering opportunities that contribute to employee engagement, professional and leadership

development, talent retention and corporate responsibility goals.

The Role

Endeavour is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our Client Relations team as a Client Relations

Manager! In this role, you will support the Directors in expanding and strengthening Endeavour’s client

base while overseeing existing engagements. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, you will

foster strong relationships, understand client needs, and ensure the successful delivery of advisory and

consulting services. You will work closely with consulting teams, engagement managers, and leadership

to align client expectations with project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and engagement teams, ensuring alignment and

clear communication.

• Analyze client context, challenges, and objectives to guide project scoping and delivery.

• Implement client feedback systems and satisfaction metrics to enhance service quality and

inform future projects.

Client Acquisition & Retention

• Support the Directors of Client Relations in attracting potential clients, screening applications,

conducting interviews, and selecting clients for future engagements.

• Facilitate onboarding of new clients, ensuring clear understanding of engagement scope,

expectations, and timelines.

• Lead initiatives to expand client partnerships and drive repeat engagements.

• Share client updates, issues, and successes with internal stakeholders to guide decision-making.

Project Oversight

• Work with project managers and volunteer consultants to ensure projects meet client

expectations, timelines, and quality standards.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are appropriately staffed to meet

client requirements.

• Participate in regular team meetings for client application screening, project updates, and

strategic planning.

• Identify potential risks in client engagements and implement mitigation strategies with

consulting teams.

Qualifications

• Proactive self-starter with excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills to drive

client growth initiatives.

• Able to navigate ambiguous situations and exercise professional judgment.

• Capable of managing multiple client engagements simultaneously in a volunteer-driven

environment.

• Available to participate in training sessions, team meetings (virtual or in-person), and the final

presentation meeting for each consulting cycle.

• Experience in client management through prior work or Endeavour consulting experience is an

asset.

• Committed to a minimum 1-year tenure with Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits.
