It’s a perfect chance to support little innovators while enjoying festive vibes. Don’t miss out on this heartwarming event full of joy, creativity, and holiday cheer!

Kindraza is a nonprofit based in Toronto that focuses on Teen Empowerment and Skills Development through hands-on programs and experiences designed to prepare them for success in an AI driven world. We teach real-life skills like leadership, financial literacy, critical thinking, problem-solving, digital discernment, ethical AI use, and a lot more, all within a supportive community of likeminded peers and mentors!

Youth Business Fair – Volunteer Roles

Please choose the role and the time you able to volunteer and indicate that in your application. You can choose multiple roles and times if desired. Roles can overlap and may be rotated if needed at the time of the event. Please provide 3 options of your choice in case if we fill the role of your first choice.

1. Inside the Fair (Indoors)

A. Welcome Desk (2 people per shift)

• Greet families

• Give basic directions (bathroom, booths, exits)

B. Booth Helpers / Floaters (3–4 people)

• Walk around

• Help kids if they get overwhelmed

• Keep aisles clear

• Watch for any safety issue and tell the event lead

C. Setup & Cleanup Crew (2–3 people)

• Set up tables and signs (morning)

• Pack up everything (end of day)

  1. Volunteer Coordinator (1 per shift)
  • Make sure each shift has bodies assigned.
  • Keep the volunteers moving if a spot is empty.
  • If someone disappears or an area gets crowded → send a floater there.
  • Escalate to organizers if needed.

2. Outside Near the Skating Rink (Outdoors)

A. Direction Volunteers (2–3 people)

• Tell people how to get to the fair

• Tell fair guests where the rink entrance is

• Keep pathways clear

B. Safety Watch (1–2 people)

• Stand where foot traffic is heavy

• Redirect people if crowding starts

• If anything looks unsafe → alert event lead or rink staff

3. Shifts

• Morning Setup: 8:30–9:45

• Mid-Day Shift: 10:00–12:30

• Afternoon Shift: 12:30–3:00

• Cleanup: 3:00–4:00

Can be overlapped.

Free hot beverages for volunteers on site.
