What you will do

• Support children and youth in their daily activities and routines.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals.
• Promote a safe and positive environment.
• Document and report on progress and incidents.

What we are looking for

• Required: Minimum 3 years of experience working with children and youth, particularly those with behavioural or mental health challenges.
• Required: Solid understanding of child and youth development theories, trauma-informed care, and mental health issues.
• Required: Knowledge and practical experience with de-escalation techniques and crisis management.
• Required: Diploma/Degree in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Required: Valid First Aid & CPR Certification.
• Required: Valid Safe Management or UMAB Certification.
• Required: Valid G2 or G Driver’s Licence.
• Required: Vulnerable Sector – Broad Record Check completed within the last 12 months
