What you will do

• Support children and youth in their daily activities and routines.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals.
• Promote a safe and positive environment.
• Document and report on progress and incidents.

What we are looking for

• Required: Experience working with children and youth particularly those with behavioral or mental health challenges.
• Required: Solid understanding of child and youth development theories, trauma-informed care, and mental health issues.
• Required: Knowledge and practical experience with de-escalation techniques and crisis management.
• Required: Diploma/ Degree in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• Required: Valid First Aid & CPR, Safe Management or UMAB Certificate, G2/G Driver's Licence and Vulnerable Sector-Broad Record Check (completed within 12 months)
