
Chief Donor Exeprience Officer
Richmond Hospital Foundation’s mission is to serve as a catalyst for donors to achieve their aspirational philanthropic goals while helping drive positive, transformational change to local health care in Richmond. It is also integral to the Foundation’s fundraising strategy and goal of building strong, trusting relationships with donors, clearly demonstrating the impact of their philanthropy.
An opportunity now exists to join the Richmond Hospital Foundation as it enters one of the most exciting and high-impact chapters in its history. With Phase 1 of the new Yurkovich Family Pavilion already underway, and Phase 2 set to begin in 2026, RHF is leading a once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform health care for one of B.C.’s most vibrant and diverse communities. This $1.96 billion project, a nine-storey acute care tower, will include an expanded emergency department, modern surgical and imaging facilities, intensive care, a new pharmacy, and pediatric services.
Reporting to the President & CEO and serving as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Chief Donor Experience Officer (CDEO) will shape the long-term vision and execution of an integrated donor relations and engagement strategy that enhances philanthropic relationships and strengthens the culture of giving across all donor channels. With a mandate to elevate donor experience as a core strategic pillar, the CDEO will lead the development and execution of personalized, high-impact stewardship, recognition, and engagement strategies that reflect the Foundation’s brand promise of joyful giving and drive its commitment to inspire a lifetime of giving.
As the ideal candidate, you will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline, a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in donor relations, fundraising or related fields within the nonprofit sector. Demonstrated experience in leading successful donor engagement initiatives and events is essential. The salary range for this role is $140,000.00 t0 $155,000.00 annually
