Charitable Gaming Volunteer

We could not do what we do without our amazing volunteers. Join a dynamic and diverse group of people who are making an important contribution to helping individuals live while living with cancer. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to lend a helping hand with various tasks, including customer service, light cleaning, warm greetings, and more.

Charitable Gaming:

We have been approved as a charity to benefit from the Charitable Gaming at Rama Gaming House at 991 Kennedy Road in Scarborough.

Training:

Training will be provided and is mandatory to be completed for the role.

Position Description:

• Provide great customer service, welcoming customers at the main entrance and thanking them for supporting Gilda's Toronto.
• Assisting patrons and providing information about Gilda’s Toronto to promote our organization.
• Share information on games, programs, and promotions, and answer questions.
• Help with light clean-up and assist with bingo winner call-backs (training provided).
• No money handling is required.
• Age Requirement: the minimum age is 19.
• Name tag and uniform shirt will be provided.
• Volunteer commitment is about 1-2 shifts per month. The duration of a shift is 2.5 hours. Day, evening, and weekend shifts are available. Minimum 6-month commitment.

About Rama Gaming House – Charitable Gaming & Gilda’s Toronto:

Rama Gaming House is a local gaming establishment which offers Vegas-style games, traditional or electronic bingo and a cocktail bar! Gilda’s Toronto has been approved as a charity to benefit from the Charitable Gaming at Rama Gaming House, Scarborough location. Rama Gaming House will raise funds for us, Gilda's Toronto, a cancer support community. The funds raised by Rama Gaming House will assist with programs where individuals impacted by cancer - adults, children and teens, as well as their families & friends become part of a welcoming community of support.
