Charitable Gaming Volunteer

Charitable Gaming: We have been approved as a charity to benefit from the Charitable Gaming at Rama Gaming House at 991 Kennedy Road in Scarborough. Rama Gaming House raises funds for Gilda's Club Greater Toronto, a cancer support community. The funds raised assist with free programs where individuals impacted by cancer - adults, children and teens, as well as their families & friends - become part of a welcoming community of support.

Training: Training will be provided and is mandatory to be completed for the role.

We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to lend a helping hand with various tasks, including customer service, light cleaning, warm greetings, and more. At this charitable gaming venue, we also have bingo evenings where your assistance with call-backs would be greatly appreciated.

Position Description:

• Responsibilities include greeting and assisting patrons and providing information about Gilda’s Toronto to promote our organization. No money handling is required.
• Volunteer commitment is about 1-2 shifts per month. The duration of a shift is 2.5 hours. Day/evening/weekend shifts available. Minimum 6-month commitment.
• All volunteers are required to complete an online training session which followed by an in-person session.
• Age Requirement: the minimum age is 19.
• Name tag and uniform shirt will be provided.
• Location: Charitable Gaming at the Rama Gaming site at 991 Kennedy Road, Scarborough, ON
