Job Type – Non-management

Salary Range: This position offers a salary range commensurate with experience and aligned with competitive benchmarks for similar roles in the non-profit sector.

Location: This is a hybrid position. While we have a collaborative Ottawa-based office, team members typically work in the office 1-2 days a week, with flexibility to structure additional remote work. Standard hours are 37.5 per week, with some flexibility to accommodate life and family needs. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for exam cycles, with time off in lieu provided.

Term: 1-year contract (with strong possibility of extension)

Start Date: September 1st, 2025 (flexible)

About the job:

Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC) is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented CETP Exams & Professional Standards Analyst to support the development, administration, and quality improvement of the regulatory Canadian Entry-to-Practice (CETP-AUD/SLP) Exams for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. This dynamic, full-time position, offers a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the future of professional excellence while fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion across the speech-language pathology and audiology professions in Canada.

About the role:

Reporting to the Manager, CETP Exams and Professional Standards, the Analyst plays a key role in coordinating exam logistics, analyzing data to support program improvement, and contributing to the development of new services and resources for exam candidates. The role requires a strong operational mindset, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a customer service approach.

This position is ideal for professionals with experience in exam or program delivery, analytics, or member and community engagement, particularly in a regulatory or standards-based context.

What will you do?

As the CETP Exams and Professional Standards Analyst, you will play a central role in supporting the coordination and delivery of SAC’s high-stakes national certification exams. You’ll manage logistics, track deadlines, and liaise with vendors, candidates, and partners to ensure smooth and professional exam experience.

You will also be responsible for collecting and analyzing candidate data to generate meaningful reports, dashboards, and insights that drive quality improvements and inform strategic decisions. Drawing on your analytical mindset, you will help identify trends, support issue resolution, and contribute to program innovation.

This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a regulated, standard-driven environment. The successful candidate will also bring strong written communication skills, a proactive approach to documentation, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams, expert volunteers, and external partners.

What you'll need to succeed

Education and Experience


• Post-secondary education in a relevant field such as public administration, education, business, health, or a related discipline.


• Experience supporting operations, program delivery, or data analysis in a professional, customer- focused, or regulated environment.


• Experience working directly with service users, students, or regulated professionals is a strong asset.
• Bilingualism in English and French is considered a strong asset.

Skills and Attributes


• Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports, standard

operating procedures, and partner updates.
• Confident presenting to large groups and facilitating virtual meetings.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively across internal teams, volunteers,

and external partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, collaborative tools (MS Teams, SharePoint, Planner), and

experience with web content management platforms such as WordPress.
• Ability to create process flows and documentation using flowcharting or project management tools.
• Analytical mindset with experience generating dashboards, reports, and insights from data.
• Adaptable and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, standard-driven environment.
• Customer-oriented approach with a focus on service quality and responsiveness.
