CEO / Librarian

Reporting to the Library Board, the CEO provides leadership in library operations, financial management, strategic planning, staff supervision, community partnerships and public service.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a welcoming rural community, while leading an organization that serves as a hub for learning, connection and engagement.

Qualifications:

• Relevant post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in a public library, municipal, nonprofit or community-focused organization
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational and financial management skills
• Proficiency with technology and library management systems
• Ontario Library Service (OLS) EXCEL certificate in Public Library Management
• Ability to obtain a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check

Salary Range: $46,530 - $55,393 per annum

Employment Type: Permanent, Salaried part-time

Hours: 30 hours per week

Start Date: 22 September 2026 (this is flexible, depending on candidate availability)
