
CEO / Librarian

Reporting to the Library Board, the CEO provides leadership in library operations, financial management, strategic planning, staff supervision, community partnerships and public service.

Qualifications:
- Relevant post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in a public library, municipal, nonprofit or community-focused organization
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational and financial management skills
- Proficiency with technology and library management systems
- Ontario Library Service (OLS) EXCEL certificate in Public Library Management
- Ability to obtain a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check
Salary Range: $46,530 - $55,393 per annum
Employment Type: Permanent, Salaried part-time
Hours: 30 hours per week
Start Date: 22 September 2026 (this is flexible, depending on candidate availability)
