
Case Manager, Money Matters Program
Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation is seeking a case manager to join a professional team providing case management for economically vulnerable people living with cancer. The Case Manager will help people navigate income replacement programs and other financial resources when faced with a cancer diagnosis.
This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits. This position is primarily located at 105 Wellness Way in Toronto, and the successful candidate may choose to work 2 days at home most weeks.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and/or Master of Social Work (MSW) required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a non-profit setting, preferably related to health
- Understanding of the impact of cancer on individuals and families
- Experience with intake, assessment and management of ongoing caseloads
- Knowledge of government and workplace benefit programs would be an asset
- High degree of organization, with very good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- High degree of proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Case Management in the Wellspring Money Matters program (training provided)
- Participation as an integral part of the Mission Delivery staff team
- Participation in, and encouragement of, Wellspring’s growing culture of philanthropy
Other information
- Salary range: $75,000 - $80,000
- There is no use of artificial intelligence in this hiring process beyond the Charity Village tracking system which is in place.
