Canadian Volunteer Board Members – Where Are India’s Children? (WAIC)
About Us
Where Are India’s Children? (WAIC) is a new Canada-wide nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that children in India—especially those at risk of aging out of the shelter system—are placed into the adoption pool so they can grow up in loving families. Kids belong in families, not institutions.
We’re seeking passionate Canadians to help us establish Canadian charitable status, build our governance structure, and raise awareness across the country.
Volunteer Opportunities
Board of Directors Members: Provide strategic oversight, approve budgets, and help with governance as we incorporate federally and register with the CRA.
Fundraising & Outreach Volunteers: Support campaigns to raise awareness and secure donations.
Legal/Finance Advisors (Volunteer): Guide us through nonprofit compliance and charity application processes.
