The Arrival Aid Foundation is looking for a Communications Lead (Volunteer) to help strengthen our connection with immigrant and refugee communities while growing our online presence. If you enjoy content creation, conducting interviews, and storytelling to highlight the voices and experiences of the people we serve - all from the comfort of your home - then, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the non-profit sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Communications Plan
- Plan and coordinate social media content with the Social Media Manager (Instagram, TikTok)
- Engage with communities in the non-profit sector
- Conduct interviews and resource sharing for newcomers
- Support promotional efforts for events and initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong written communication skills (English fluency required)
- Solid understanding of social media platforms
- Passion for supporting newcomers
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience with Canva Pro is an asset
