The Role:

We are in search of our newest Business Development Representative. You will be responsible for helping to generate new client partner opportunities for CharityVillage, leading with best-in-class service.

Main Responsibilities:

The Business Development Representative is responsible for achieving sales targets, growth, and account penetration respective to CharityVillage’s core products and services. You will generate and manage leads for new business opportunities that fit CharityVillage’s core competencies and ideal customer profile.
  • Achieve agreed upon monthly and annual sales targets and goals
  • Use various channels such as online platforms, networking events, and referrals to identify and generate leads for new revenue opportunities
  • Evaluate leads to determine their potential value and fit with the company's offerings. Qualify leads based on criteria such as budget, need, authority, and timeline (BANT)
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to showcase CharityVillages’ offerings and value proposition to potential clients
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, agreement terms, and close opportunities in alignment with the company's objectives
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with customers by ensuring that their needs are met and resolving any issues in a timely manner
  • Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with prospective clients, key stakeholders, and industry contacts to establish trust and foster long-term partnerships
  • Maintain client records in CRM and on Website and provide administration within same - keeping notes and updating records
  • Participate in team and company-wide meetings to help improve our client offerings and internal systems

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to work independently, under pressure, while achieving targets
  • Driven by KPI's
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Previous sales experience
  • Strong prospecting, cold calling, and closing skills
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM preferred
  • A strong understanding of the NonProfit and Charitable sectors in Canada is a benefit
  • Proven work ethic with the utmost integrity and desire to excel and succeed
  • Self-awareness, with a desire for constant self-improvement
  • Self-motivated, passionate, empathetic, approachable

Salary

The starting salary is $50,000 + uncapped commission plan.
