The Position

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, the Business Development Representative is responsible for achieving sales targets, driving growth, and penetrating accounts in alignment with CharityVillage's core products and services.

Collaborating closely with the National Accounts Team, you will actively generate and manage leads, identifying new business opportunities that align with our core competencies and ideal customer profile.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a significant impact by cultivating valuable partnerships with clients for CharityVillage, while providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets and goals.
  • Utilize diverse channels, including online platforms, networking events, and referrals, to identify and generate leads.
  • Evaluate leads to assess their potential value and compatibility with our offerings. Qualify leads based on criteria such as budget, need, authority, and timeline (BANT).
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to showcase CharityVillage's offerings and value proposition to potential clients.
  • Engage in collaborative discussions with clients to understand their needs, negotiate terms, and successfully close deals in line with company objectives.
  • Maintain accurate client records in the CRM system and on the website, providing meticulous administration by taking notes and updating records for each account.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and the annual company retreat, contributing to the enhancement of our client offerings and internal systems.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to work independently, under pressure, while consistently achieving targets.
  • Motivated by KPIs and driven to excel.
  • Previous customer service and sales experience.
  • Strong skills in prospecting, cold calling, and closing deals.
  • Experience using Salesforce is preferred.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the target markets, industry, company, company contacts, and effective market strategies for attracting clients.
  • Demonstrated work ethic with unwavering integrity and a strong desire to excel and succeed.
