The B.E.S.T. Program (Build Empowered & Skilled Tomorrow) by Casa Foundation is a free youth development program that empowers you with the skills, mentorship, and hands-on experience needed to succeed in school, work, and life.
What is the B.E.S.T. Program?
The B.E.S.T. Program is designed to help young Canadians build essential life and career skills, develop leadership abilities, and make a real impact in their communities. Through this 10-week experience, you’ll participate in flexible learning sessions, receive professional mentorship, complete valuable volunteer placements, and expand your personal and professional networks.
What You’ll Experience:
Volunteer Placements: Gain 90–120 hours of real-world experience through hands-on volunteer work, aligned with your interests and career goals. (Also counts toward your 40 hours of community service for your Ontario Secondary School Diploma!)
In-Person or Remote Options: Our program is designed to be flexible, with evening Zoom sessions that fit around school, work, or personal commitments.
Tools to Succeed:
Eligible participants will receive:
A pre-loaded Presto card to help with transportation during the program.
A laptop to support your learning and volunteer work throughout the program.
