Type: Unpaid Internship (Hybrid – Combination of Remote and On-Site Work)

Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and creative Branding and Media Marketing Strategist to join our team as a student intern. This crucial role involves developing and executing innovative social media strategies to enhance our online presence, engage our audience, and promote our brand across various platforms. This internship is perfect for students currently studying digital marketing, communications, or a related field, who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with our organization's goals and target audience.
  • Content Creation:

    • Create engaging and relevant content for different social media platforms, including posts, graphics, and videos.
  • Community Engagement:

    • Manage and grow our online community by responding to comments and messages promptly and appropriately.
  • Analytics and Reporting:

    • Monitor social media metrics, analyze performance, and prepare detailed reports to assess the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns.
  • Campaign Management:

    • Plan and execute social media campaigns, coordinating with other team members and departments as necessary.
  • Brand Advocacy:

    • Ensure brand consistency across all social media channels and advocate for our organization's mission and values.
  • Trend Monitoring:

    • Stay updated with the latest social media trends and best practices, adapting strategies as needed to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with other team members, including the production team, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach.
  • Sales optimization
  • Assist us with marketing and sales of community event tickets

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:

    • Currently enrolled in a degree program related to digital marketing, communications, or similar fields.
  • Professional Skills:

    • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
    • Excellent communication and writing skills, Canadapable of crafting compelling and engaging content.
    • Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Personal Qualities:

    • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and inclusivity.
    • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all communications.
    • Critical and creative thinking abilities are essential.
