Book Club Facilitator

In partnership with Brampton Library, we’re hosting Climate Book Club to encourage residents to explore books on climate change, and share ideas with like-minded people. We’re seeking facilitators to help guide conversations around each month’s selected book. Facilitators participate on a per-session basis, so you can sign up for a single book club meeting that fits your schedule.

Locations:

• 1. South Fletcher's Branch - Shoppers World Brampton: 499 Main St S #61, Brampton, ON L6Y 1N7
• 2. Four Corners (Board Room) - 65 Queen St E, Brampton, ON L6W 3L6
• 3. South Fletcher's Susan Fennell Complex - 500 Ray Lawson Blvd, Brampton, ON L6Y 5B3
• When: Last Monday of Every Month

• Time: 6:30pm - 8:00pm

• What You Can Get:
  • Gain experience in community engagement, outreach, and leadership
  • Develop and strengthen your communication and facilitation skills
  • Receive a $50 honorarium per event along with any associated travel costs as a thank you from the CCC
  • A free copy of the book of the month—when you sign up to lead that month’s session
