Board President – Second Chance Sanctuary

Second Chance Sanctuary (SCS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a safe, loving environment for animals in need while promoting animal welfare and community engagement. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Board President to lead our board of directors and support the organization’s mission, including overseeing strategic planning, governance, and organizational development.

The Board President will:

Lead and facilitate board meetings, ensuring productive discussion and decision-making.

Provide guidance and oversight for the board to fulfill its fiduciary duties.

Collaborate with the Founder & CEO to develop and execute strategic initiatives.

Act as an ambassador for the organization in the community and with partners.

Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and financial responsibilities.
