Board Members Needed!

Mississauga Festival Youth Choir is seeking new volunteer Board Members. We are especially interested in those with experience or interest in digital marketing and/or website design. This choir invites children of all abilities to participate and has a multi-cultural focus, occasionally learning songs in other languages.

If you are passionate about children and youth having access to affordable, accessible, inclusive music opportunities, consider joining our Board. Founded in 1997, the Mississauga Festival Youth Choir provides a top-notch choral experience that embraces diversity of culture and welcomes young people of all skill levels and experience.

We are looking to fill the positions of:

Board Executives - President, Treasuer
Media Director – digital marketing, website design
Members at Large
In any of these positions, the Board would highly value new members who are tech savvy to help with digital marketing (Facebook, Instagram), website design, etc. Alternatively, a strong desire to learn these skills/tools would be appreciated.

The Board meets 6-8 times annually for 1-2hours online. There are additional projects taken on periodically that could require additional time. Board members are asked to commit to a 2-year tenure. New members will be considered by the President, approved by the current Board and then voted in at our next Annual General Meeting.
