Board Members

The Cumberland Community Schools Society (CCSS) is registered charity operating in the municipality of Cumberland, BC. Established in 2000, the Society works to improve access to nutritious food, inclusive recreation, lifelong learning and networks of support in our Village.

This is accomplished through the provision of a School Meal Program, After-School Activities, a drop-in Youth Centre, Community Programs and Food Share.

CCSS is seeking community-minded individuals residing in Cumberland to join our Board of Directors starting November 2026, with a minimum commitment of one year. If you live in our community and are passionate about collaboration, supporting our mission, and driving meaningful system change, we’d love to hear from you. Experience in non-profits, finance, fundraising, and/or policy writing is an asset—but dedication and enthusiasm are what matter most.
