Community Care Durham is currently seeking candidates to join its Board of Directors with experience in Legal & Regulatory.
Ideal Background:
** Practicing or retired lawyer or senior legal executive
** Expertise in one or more of the following:
- Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (ONCA)
- Health law and privacy
- Labour and employment relations
- Contracts and/or real estate

Organization Overview:
Community Care Durham (CCD) is a multi-service registered charitable organization
providing a broad range of services for individuals over the age of 16 and their caregivers.
CCD delivers high‑quality programs and services that promote independence, connection,
and enhanced quality of life.

The CCD Board of Directors functions as a governance Board, with accountability for
strategic direction, fiduciary oversight, risk governance, and CEO evaluation.The Board’s
work is focused on policy, stewardship, and long‑term organizational sustainability.
