Board Member (Volunteer) – Positive Lamb Foundation (Canada)

About Positive Lamb Foundation:

At Positive Lamb (+Lamb), we are determined to build a world where children living with HIV are provided equal access to stigma-free education, housing, and poverty relief . For over a decade, we have provided essential services for children living with HIV in India. We are a growing grassroots organization supporting 95 children annually and we are actively looking for dedicated leaders to join our Canadian Board of Directors.

The Role:

This is a voluntary, remote position for a motivated individual who wants to help guide our strategic direction and financial stewardship. While the role is remote, we are based in Calgary and look for members who will represent us professionally in their local community—like participating World AIDS Day and championing our mission at in-person fundraisers.

The Commitment:

Term: 3 years (can be extended).

Meetings: 2–3 board meetings per year (2 hours each) plus the February AGM.

Active Participation: Sit on at least one committee or lead a fundraiser annually.

Ambassadorship: Representing the organization with heart and professionalism to help grow our grassroots impact.

Who You Are:

We are seeking well-connected individuals with a genuine interest in children’s rights to stigma-free education and HIV related issues, like discrimination and poverty, for marginalized children in India.

We value candidates who have experience in:

• Board Governance or Legal oversight
• Corporate or Major Giving and Fundraising
• Grant Writing
• Volunteer Management and Networking

Note: While experience in these areas is a significant value, we prioritize candidates with the time, heart, and commitment to contribute meaningfully to our long-term sustainability.
