About Us

The Children’s Bridge is a licensed, federally incorporated non-profit adoption agency based in Ottawa, Ontario. Our staff and Board work together in the best interests of children, providing both pre- and post-adoption services to families.

Our mission is to create a sustainable, ethical adoption practice that puts children first while supporting adoptive families every step of the way.

The Role

As a Volunteer Board Member, you will:

• Provide governance and strategic oversight to strengthen The Children’s Bridge.
• Share your professional expertise to advance our mission.
• Collaborate with a diverse and dedicated group of directors and staff.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a committed professional who is passionate about giving back to their community and making a difference in the lives of adoptive children and families. Direct experience with adoption is an asset but not required. A background in communication, marketing, finance, public relations, or law would be an asset.

Time Commitment

Board members attend monthly evening virtual meetings and may also contribute to special projects.

Term of 3 years
