ROCK (Reach Out Centre for Kids) is currently seeking passionate and committed individuals to join our Board of Directors. As the lead agency for children’s mental health in Halton, ROCK is dedicated to building strong, inclusive communities where everyone can thrive. ROCK is recognized a non-profit employer of choice and holds an exemplary standing from Accreditation Canada, reflecting our commitment to high-quality care.
We are looking for new Board members who bring one or more of the following perspectives or areas of experience:
- Lived experience with mental health, caregiving, or navigating health and social systems
- Youth voice – current or recent youth with lived experience in mental health or community services
- Professional experience in health care or mental health service delivery
- Expertise in digital health, innovation or technology
- Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) practitioners or advocates

Commitment:
Board members typically commit to:
- Attending regular Board and committee meetings (approximately 6 to 8 times per year)
- Participating in strategic planning and governance activities
- Advocating for the mission and vision of ROCK within the community

Please note that ROCK positions are currently working in an on-site and virtual hybrid model. Positions are located in the Halton Region and travel between sites may be required.
