
Board of Directors - Volunteer Director Position
We are a non-profit organization that supports people with disabilities who reside in the Quinte region, 16 years and older. We deliver opportunities for individuals to be valued and contributing members of their community, supporting their personal growth, healthy active living, and independence.
We are currently looking for passionate individuals with varying skill sets to help build, lead and promote the organization.
The successful candidate will have experience in fundraising and a keen desire to influence organizational growth.
Board members for COED will work together to address policy development, future planning, community and public relations while continuing to create an environment open to advocacy.

The ideal candidate will possess some or all of the following:
Knowledge of marketing, crowd funding, business background (finance, IT, facilities), legal issues and/or human resources.
Non-Profit operations or non-profit board management experience.
Volunteer experience.
Proven written and intrapersonal communication skills.
*Please note that all volunteers must submit a Police Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (PCRJMC) with zero tolerance upon application.
