Board of Directors - President (2 year term)

NutritionLink Services Society (NLS) is a BC non-profit focused on improving the health of BC residents through the promotion of healthy eating and nutritional literacy. NLS currently administers an annual grant program through which funds are granted to organizations throughout BC to execute projects aligning with NLS' mandate.

We are looking to recruit new Board members to complement our existing volunteer Board. We ae specifically seeking members who are excited to contribute to the strategic direction of the organization and implement Board initiatives, including fundraising efforts.

This position requires approximately 5 hours per month, including a monthly held Board meeting (currently on Mondays at 5:30pm). Some in-person meetings may also be held in the Lower Mainland (times and dates determined as a Board). Although prior Board experience or nutritional education is not necessary, we are looking for committed Board members who will actively contribute to discussions and who are passionate about promoting healthy eating and nutritional literacy. Attendance at monthly Board meetings is mandatory.
