Join Wellkin’s Board of Directors

Wellkin Child and Youth is recruiting board members to join the Wellkin Board of Directors. Together with your Board colleagues you will help guide our organization in making a meaningful difference in the lives of people we serve in Oxford & Elgin Counties.

Applicants must either live or work in either Oxford or Elgin Counties and be at least 18 years old.

Time Commitment:

Monthly meetings are the last Wednesday of the month (alternating between St. Thomas and Woodstock) except July, August and December. The term of office is two years and board members may serve up to 4 terms.

Training

Board members participate in opportunities for professional growth inlcuding annual orientation and ongoing training sessions.

You will contribute your unique experience and perspective

Our volunteer Board of Directors is comprised of community members who offer a diverse skillset and perspective. We are seeking individuals with diverse life experiences and experience in one or more of the following areas would be an asset:

• Finance
• Risk management
• Fund development/Fundraising
• Not-for-profit governance
