BC Live Performance Network (BC Live) is seeking committed, thoughtful, and strategic individuals to join our Board of Directors.
Are you passionate about performing arts, festivals, governance, strategy and leadership? Are you looking for an opportunity to volunteer in a role which will provide you with a sense of purpose and enable you to share your expertise and contribute your value towards supporting the performing arts and festivals sector across British Columbia?
At BC Live, we are pleased to start recruitment for volunteer positions on our Board of Directors, As a Board Member, you will play a key governance and stewardship role, helping guide BC Live’s strategic direction, organizational health, and long-term sustainability. Working collaboratively with fellow directors and staff leadership, you will contribute insight, oversight, and advocacy in support of BC Live’s mission and goals.
Term: 2 years (April 2026 – 2028)
Time Commitment: 3-5 hours/month, including monthly Board meetings and events (e.g. Pacific Contact, AGM).
Who is BC Live?
The BC Live Performance Network is a vibrant network organization that provides a variety of programs and services both online and in-person including our annual showcase, and professional development conference, Pacific Contact. This year's conference is taking place soon from October 1-4 on Nanaimo, BC.
BC Live's vision is to grow a sustainable and healthy performing arts and festival ecosystem to advance the quality of life, health and well-being of artists, administrators, technicians and audiences in communities across BC.
BC Live's mission is to raise awareness and understanding of the economic, cultural and social benefits of the performing arts and festivals sector among partners, funders and the public.
