Patient, Client & Family Council (PCFC)
Are you passionate about mental health, lived experience, and strengthening patient-centered care?
The Patient, Client & Family Council (PCFC) is seeking volunteer members to join our Board of Directors and help guide our growing non-profit organization.
As a peer-led organization, PCFC ensures the voices of patients, clients, and families are heard across mental health systems — locally, regionally, and provincially. Our work is built on lived experience, collaboration, and compassion, helping to shape programs and policies that reflect real needs and meaningful recovery.

- Provide strategic guidance and oversight for PCFC’s mission and priorities
- Support organizational growth, sustainability, and governance practices
- Champion the value of lived experience in all aspects of mental health care
- Participate in quarterly board meetings (in-person or virtual) and occasional committee work
- Act as an ambassador for PCFC in the community

- Bring experience in one or more of the following areas: non-profit governance, finance, human resources, communications, law, health care, or community engagement
