SEEKING BOARD MEMBERS
The Canadian Mental Health Association, Brant Haldimand Norfolk Branch (CMHA), is now accepting applications for membership to our Board of Directors. CMHA provides a wide range of community mental health services for people 16 years or older who are experiencing a serious or persistent mental health concern. Volunteers are asked to provide 3-4 hours of their time per month, and meetings always offer a virtual option.
We are committed to reflecting the diversity of the communities we serve, so we strongly encourage candidates with the following skills and life experiences to apply:
- Individuals from the TS & LGBTQIA+ community.
- Indigenous - First Nation, Metis, Inuit community members.
- Individuals from Racialized or Black communities.
- People with Lived Experience or their care partners
- Individuals with financial expertise.
- Individuals with fundraising expertise. Individuals with legal expertise.
- Gen Z/Zoomers
- People with Lived Experience or their care partners
