New Board Members Being Sought

We are seeking 3 to 4 new members to join our Board of Directors. Candidates should bring a strong governance capacity. We especially welcome applicants with experience or expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Property development, construction, or real estate (to support future second-stage housing projects and ongoing infrastructure needs)
• Financial management/accounting (with a CPA designation or equivalent experience strongly valued)
• Fundraising, donor relations, or philanthropy
• Human Resources and labour relations
• Legal expertise
• Marketing, communications, and public relations

We are committed to building a Board that reflects the diversity of our community and encourage applications from equity-seeking groups, including women of colour, Indigenous women, 2SLGBTQIA+ people, newcomers, and people with lived experience of IPV.

The Process for Application

We invite your expression of interest in the form of a cover letter and resume (or short biography). Please describe your interest in serving as a director in your cover letter. Candidates may be invited to interviews with the Nominations Committee, and references may be requested. A criminal record and vulnerable sector check will be required.
