Volunteer Opportunity: Board Directors Needed

Pacific Post Partum Support Society (PPPSS) is seeking new Board Directors—especially those with Human Resources expertise in the non-profit sector.

Mission: To end the isolation and distress experienced by parents and families during the profound life changes that accompany the birth or adoption of a child.
Vision: A world where knowledgeable, caring perinatal support is common and accessible to all families.

Who We’re Looking For

Ideal candidates may bring:

2–3+ years of HR experience (non-profit preferred)

Expertise in employment legislation, compensation, or organizational design

Finance or accounting background

Fund development experience

Lived experience as a previous PPPSS client

Membership in BIPOC or 2SQT communities

Passion for supporting new parents

Time Commitment

Board meetings: Every two months (1–2 hours)

Committee meetings: 2–3 hours per month

All meetings held via Zoom.
