Board Director - General Member

Help shape the future of crisis support in our community - the Distress Centre of Ottawa and Region (DCOR) is recruiting volunteer Board Directors!

Directors help guide DCOR’s strategic direction, sustainability, and community impact, providing governance and financial oversight and contributing to discussions on strategy, risk, and organizational growth. Board members also serve as ambassadors, strengthening relationships across the region.

Key Details

• Prior Board or governance experience required
• Expertise sought: finance, mental health/healthcare, communications, fundraising, volunteer engagement, or strategic planning
• Bilingualism is an asset
• Commitment: 2-4 hours per month, on average
• Apply by April 7, 2026
