Board Director
Board Member Commitment
Our Board of Directors plays an important role in helping guide the organization and support our vision for children, youth, and families in the Shuswap.
Board members are asked to:
- Attend a 2-hour board meeting once a month, held on the last Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m.
- Participate in meetings from September through June (no meeting in December).
- Join meetings in person or remotely.
- Serve on one or two board committees, depending on interests, skills, and availability.
- Review meeting materials in advance and contribute to discussions and decision-making.
- Act as ambassadors for the organization and support our values, and strategic goals.
This volunteer opportunity is a meaningful way to give back to the community, share your skills, and help make a positive difference in the lives of local children, youth, and families.
