Help build a community where all youth thrive by joining our Board of Directors.

Threshold Housing Society is dedicated to preventing adult homelessness by providing safe housing, support services, and a sense of belonging to at-risk youth. Every day, we work to ensure young people have the stability and opportunities they need to build brighter futures.

We are seeking two to three passionate, community-minded individuals to join our volunteer Board of Directors. As a Director, you will help guide our strategic vision, strengthen our impact, and champion the needs of youth in our community.

Priority Skills & Experience

For this recruitment cycle, we are particularly seeking individuals with:

• Financial, accounting, audit, or fiscal oversight expertise
• Legal expertise
• Housing development and construction expertise
• Experience supporting organizational sustainability and growth
• Non-profit governance experience

Board Commitment Board Directors:

• Attend monthly Board meetings
• Participate on at least one committee
• Support governance, strategy, and organizational sustainability
• Serve as ambassadors for Threshold Housing Society This is a volunteer governance role.

New Directors are formally elected at the organization’s Annual General Meeting each September. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
